YOU&ME and Cooke Fawcett Architects are collaborating on a family of public realm pavilions at International Quarter Stratford, London, inspired by domesticity and nature.
The London Borough of Bromley have appointed YOU&ME to design and deliver 12 shopfronts within Penge High Street in consultation with local stakeholders and community groups. Works include developing bespoke designs for shops and artwork graphics focusing on improvements at key junctions which add to the recent public realm works. The improvements are part of the New Homes Bonus Top Slice Programme of regeneration.
Chantry Studio is a new build artist's studio and Gallery in Dorset. The project is a collaboration between YOU&ME and artist Rob Woolner.
Shou Sugi Ban Japanese charred timber techniques create a silvery black cladding. The symmetrical openings and steel slots set in the structure create highlights within the black box, taking cues from the artist's work.
The project was delivered without planning under permitted development rights.
YOU&ME are working with the Greater London Authority and London Festival of Architecture on the regeneration of the Silvertown flyover, Royal Docks in East London.
