Greenland Place
Retail Branding + Public Realm
YOU&ME have been appointed by developer General Projects to work on the retail branding, public realm and wayfinding of Greenland Place, a new boutique retail, workspace and cultural hub in the heart of Surrey Quays by Barratt Homes Developments.
Centred around the new Yeoman Street, Greenland Place is part of a 10 acre regeneration project that is transforming this area into one of London's fastest growing communities. The client's vision is to 'create the village of the future' and YOU&ME have enhanced this notion through the proposed place-making strategy, the retail branding and public realm interventions. The proposals create a characterful, eclectic, yet cohesive environment, flexible and adaptable, bringing together 15 independent retailers, artisans and creative enterprises.
The scheme includes Greenland Place wayfinding signage, furniture art and benches to animate the central square of the development. New canopies to retail units and secondary colour frame detailing in an estate-wide colour palette brings cohesion as well as individuality to the commerical units.
The project is currently in planning.
