Atrium Installation
you&me were invited by Arup Engineering to submit a proposal for their annual interactive atrium installation. ‘Listening Ears’ is a proposal which responds to this year’s theme ‘Designed for People’, creating a series of inspiring and comfortable social break-out spaces centred around the Atrium at No.8. The installation is a visual and physical manifestation of Arup’s multi-disciplinary and collaborative ethos. The ‘Ears’ enable new communication links between the different floors at No.8, as well as linking to the neighbouring No.13 building and to the extended Arup network beyond - nationally and internationally. The ‘Ears’ also provide much needed comfortable spaces for people to work, play, pause and interact with.
