Our joined design development with Fleet Architects and BB Heritage Studio for Peterson's Smokehouse includes a dark industrial material palette with colour highlights which takes cues from the fish smoking process: the iridescence of fish skin, the coral pink of salmon, the dirty yellow-grey of haddock, the black tar linings of the smoking houses.

Some great and inspiring modelmaking, sketching and briefwriting at our Skill Up Summer School at Riba London!

Help us investigate ideas for the re-use of 2 historic buildings within Grimsby’s port! The Grade II listed Peterson’s Smoke House and building 89 (former Fred’s Fisheries) will receive National Lottery Heritage Funding for their refurbishment.  The funding of the project is dependent on a strong business plan which will support the regeneration of the port, aiming to attract further investment to the area; bringing new life, jobs and opportunities.

Your input could shape the future of this part of Grimsby. We’d love to hear from you!
