YOU&ME worked closely with London Borough of Lewisham to design and build an exemplary gallery and shopfront for Deptford High Street's conservation area. The design takes cues from the area's heritage shopfronts and reinstates the original proportions, materials, pilasters and corbels.   Designs were developed in close collaboration with the council's conservation team to deliver a best practice design which has informed the council's supplementary planning and shopfront guidance. 

The previously vacant unit now houses arts organisation ‘Deptford does Art’, a community art gallery, cafe and events space.
